Razorback Greenway extension ribbon cutting planned
Grab your bike streamers and come help us celebrate!
The City of Bella Vista, in conjunction with the City of Bentonville, BikeNWA and the NWA Trailblazers, invites you to attend a ribbon cutting for the extension of the Razorback Regional Greenway into Bella Vista starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 28.
Kids and adults, show us your stuff! Bring your bikes to be decorated for a bike parade immediately following the ribbon cutting. Decorating begins at 8:30, and is hosted by the Artist Retreat Center in Bella Vista. Materials will be available. Decorating is not required to participate in the parade – come show off what you ride!
The ribbon cutting event will be at the new Greenway terminus at Blowing Springs Trailhead. The parade route will follow the trail a short distance from there to the Cooper Elementary School parking lot, and begin immediately following the ribbon cutting. After the parade, attendees can enjoy vendors and food trucks and participate in a no-drop group bike ride to the Bentonville Square and back, about 10 miles round trip, led by Erin Rushing, director of NWA Trailblazers.
For questions or more information, follow the city’s Facebook page (City of Bella Vista, Arkansas) or call or text City Hall at 479-876-1255.
