Advertising and Promotion Commission

The Advertising and Promotion Commission was created by the City Council in April 2017 via City Ordinance 2017-15 to facilitate tourism and the promotion of the city by collecting taxes on lodging accommodations and prepared food items in the city to create a fund to market and promote Bella Vista.

The commission consists of seven members, four of which represent the hospitality industry, two represent the City Council appointed by the mayor, and one is a resident at-large representative. Commissioners serve 4-year terms, and appointed by existing commissioners.

The Advertising and Promotion Commission meets quarterly the third Thursday of January, April, July and October at 2:30 p.m. at City Hall, 101 Town Center.
