Building Permitting & Inspections

The Building Division serves the community by enforcing the provisions of the Arkansas Fire Prevention Code (Building, Residential and Fire Codes), as well as the Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Energy Codes, as currently adopted. This enforcement work includes plan review, issuance of building permits, construction inspection and maintenance of permit records.

Permitting is done through the city's Community Development Services Department. Inspection services are through the Building Division of the Fire Department.
